House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly to convene on Thursday to adopt the 2025 Budget

(Patria) - After the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly adopted the Proposal for the Law on the Budget of BiH Institutions and International Obligations for 2025 on Monday, the 20th emergency session of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly has been scheduled for Thursday.

The session will be held on Thursday, November 20, starting at 11:00 AM.

The agenda includes only one item: the Proposal for the Law on the Budget of the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and International Obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2025.

For the Budget to enter into force, it must be adopted in identical text by both houses of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly.

At yesterday's session, the Budget was adopted under an urgent procedure and in the form as proposed. It is expected that the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly will do the same.

Once this Budget is adopted, the Ministry of Finance and Treasury should expedite the procedure for proposing the Budget for 2026, and send it to the BiH Presidency as soon as possible so that it can be adopted promptly.
