(Patria) - After a group of MPs from the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament requested an extraordinary session this week, it might be held. As pointed out by SDP MP Saša Magazinović, his information indicates that an extraordinary session of Parliament, following the request of MPs from SDP, NS, SBB, and A-SDA, will be held on Thursday.
The MPs cited the influx of a large number of migrants and refugees into Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the failure to elect representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe as reasons for holding the session.
We remind you that the new convocation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina did not submit a proposal for representatives to the institution, which has 47 member states, by the indicated deadline - six months after the General Elections, i.e., by April 6, 2019.
Therefore, Bosnia and Herzegovina will not have its representatives until the end of this year. Otherwise, not a single session has been held since the constitution of this House.
