Thursday promotion of Amel Salihbašić's book "Come, See, Tell On"

The EU Info Centre in Bosnia and Herzegovina is organizing on Thursday the promotion of a photo-monograph of Bosnia and Herzegovina titled „Come, See, Tell On – Bosnia and Herzegovina - 30 Unforgettable Destinations“ by author Amel Salihbašić, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The book's reviewer, Tim Clancy, an expert in eco-tourism and the environment, will present selected excerpts from the book to those present. Author Amel Salihbašić is not a professional photographer, but through his numerous travels he began to take an interest in this form of art. The book has been published in four languages: Bosnian, English, German, and Turkish.

In addition to the book promotion, an exhibition of photographs of Bosnia and Herzegovina's natural beauties by renowned photographer Munever Salihović will also be presented. His photographs capture moments from the everyday life of ordinary people, and he has also documented traditional Bosnian architecture, cultural and historical monuments, and the natural beauties of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The promotion begins at the EU Delegation building in Bosnia and Herzegovina at 4:00 PM, and the exhibition will be open to the public at the EU Info Centre premises from August 21 to September 1, Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The European Union has over the years recognized and supported the great tourism potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina for growth and development. The financial assistance provided so far to the tourism sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina, amounting to 5 million euros, has been allocated as part of the overall EU support for economic development in Bosnia and Herzegovina under various programs. Further support from the European Union in the tourism sector is expected in the future.
