(Patria) - In Ferhadija street near the Eternal Flame on Wednesday around 2:15 PM, a large amount of material collapsed from the second to last floor of the building housing the Hecco hotel.
The collapsed facade fell on passers-by, and several people were hit. An elderly woman sustained serious bodily injuries and was taken away by an ambulance.
Citizens who were at the scene provided assistance to the injured woman.
A police team has cordoned off the area where the facade collapsed pending an investigation.
