Minor from Mrkonjić Grad goes missing in Budapest, BiH Embassy in Hungary involved in search

(Patria) - Police and family are searching for K. Đ. (15) from Mrkonjić Grad who went missing yesterday in Budapest, confirmed to Nezavisne novine.

As stated in the appeal, the boy came with his grandmother from Bosnia and Herzegovina to visit his uncle in Budapest.

"He went missing in Budapest, in the 13th district of the settlement where they were staying around 11:30. He said he was going to the store and the park, but did not return. His phone has been switched off since then. He was wearing a red T-shirt, white Adidas sneakers, a white cap, a black backpack, black shorts and dark sunglasses," the post states.

It also adds that he had: a passport, phone, charger and several T-shirts.

"The family is desperate and we are looking for any information. If anyone has seen him, recognized him or has any information, please contact the police immediately or at +36 70 791 16 15," the post states.

The BiH Embassy in Budapest is engaged in the search for the minor K. Đ. from BiH who went missing in Budapest, said today the BiH Ambassador to Hungary, Biljana Gutić Bjelica.

Bjelica stated that the Embassy was unofficially informed last night about the disappearance of the fifteen-year-old and has been in contact with the police and other competent services since this morning.

"We also called hospitals and nowhere was it identified that a child with injuries or anything else was admitted," said Bjelica, noting that the minor went missing yesterday.

She added that due to the investigation, she cannot provide more details.
