(Patria) - Vale Street is believed to be the steepest inhabited street in England, reports Punkufer.hr.
Although it is just over 100 metres long, this steep marvel in the Totterdown neighbourhood of Bristol has an average gradient of 22 degrees and poses a major challenge for pedestrians, cyclists, and car drivers alike.
Climbing it is no easy feat, so it is no surprise that many come here to test their physical endurance and strength, as well as to snap a photo for social media.
Residents find it hardest when the weather turns cold - when rain falls, the concrete freezes or becomes covered in snow.
At such times, they park their cars perpendicularly to prevent them from sliding, and some even tie them to poles for the same reason.
