Dodik, Čović, Konaković, Forto, Nikšić, Krišto... in Brussels on December 5

(Patria) - BiH Council of Ministers Chairperson Borjana Krišto spoke by phone today with European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi about preparations for the holding of the Second High-Level Political Forum between the European Union (EU) and BiH, announced for December 5, 2023, in Brussels.

Krišto informed Várhelyi that she had informed all participants of the First Political Forum about the holding of the second meeting and that preparations for its successful holding are underway.

From direct communication with all leaders of the political parties of the coalition at the state level, she emphasized that they all expressed their readiness to personally attend in Brussels. She also highlighted that she sent a letter to all other participants of the First High-Level Political Forum between BiH and the EU, including members of the Collegia of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, presidents of the caucuses in the House of Representatives of the PA BiH of the coalition parties at the state level, entity and cantonal prime ministers, and the mayor of Brčko District of BiH, in which she informed them about the preparation details related to the holding of the Second High-Level Political Forum between the European Union and exhaustively listed the key obligations and steps that each level of government should take in accordance with the European Commission's Report on BiH.

Krišto once again called on all participants of the Forum to accelerate the fulfillment of remaining obligations in accordance with the recommendations from the European Commission's Report on BiH for 2023, particularly emphasizing efforts aimed at fulfilling Agenda 31, which contains priorities and reforms, assessing them as a key step towards obtaining a final date for opening negotiations for full membership by the end of this year.
