Bosnia and Herzegovina registers 336 new cases in the last 24 hours

(Patria) - Bosnia and Herzegovina registered 336 cases of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, confirmed by entity health institutions.

In the past 24 hours, the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH reported 1712 samples, of which 263 were positive for coronavirus. New cases were registered in all cantons except Bosansko-podrinjski.

A total of 124,943 samples have been tested so far, and coronavirus has been confirmed in 13,194 people.

As of today, 9,595 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, and in the past 24 hours, 254 patients have recovered. Currently, there are 3,234 active cases positive for corona. The Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH reported 2 new deaths. A man from Živinice and a woman from Teočak died.

As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 365, of which 239 are male and 126 are female.

Data for Brčko will be known during the day.

As for RS, since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 573 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of RS, the University Clinical Center of RS, the University Hospital Foča, the General Hospital "St. Apostle Luke" in Doboj, and the General Hospital Sv. Vračevi in Bijeljina, and new coronavirus was confirmed in 73 people.

These are 37 males and 36 females, of whom 12 are younger, 52 are middle-aged, and nine are elderly, according to the Institute of Public Health.

According to place of residence, 17 people are from Banja Luka, seven from Laktaši, six from Foča, four each from Gacko, Doboj, and Istočna Ilidža, three each from Bijeljina, Bosanska Gradiška, Modriča, Mrkonjić Grad, Sokolac, and Čelinac, two from Ljubinje, Pale, and Trebinje, and one each from Zvornik, Istočno Novo Sarajevo, Lopare, Petrovo, Ribnik, and Teslić.
