Bosnia and Herzegovina: 469 New Coronavirus Cases

(Patria) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, a total of 2,746 samples for coronavirus were tested in the last 24 hours, of which 469 were positive. Nine people died, according to data from the entity public health institutes and Brčko District.

In the past 24 hours, the Public Health Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina reported 2,008 samples, of which 280 were positive for coronavirus.

New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the past 24 hours, the Public Health Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina reported six new deaths. As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is 2,661.

A total of 447,901 samples have been tested so far, and coronavirus has been confirmed in 84,647 people.

As of today, 77,014 patients have recovered in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the past 24 hours, 557 patients have recovered. Currently, there are 4,972 active cases positive for coronavirus.

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 641 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, the University Hospital in Foča, and the Sv. Vračevi Hospital in Bijeljina and Sv. Apostol Luka Hospital in Doboj, and coronavirus was confirmed in 159 people.

These are 72 males and 97 females, of whom 17 are younger, 105 are middle-aged, and 37 are elderly.

In the last 24 hours, the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska reported two deaths in which the presence of the coronavirus was confirmed. These are elderly individuals from Banja Luka and Višegrad.

So far, 42,963 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 2,234 people have died in whom the coronavirus was confirmed.

In Republika Srpska, 35,786 people have recovered from this virus so far, and 199,460 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in Republika Srpska is 464, with 190 at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska and 274 in general hospitals.

Currently, 3,130 people are under health supervision in Republika Srpska, and supervision has been completed for 139,663 people.

Today, 30 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 97 samples were tested. One female died. Four people recovered.
