286 new coronavirus cases in Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - In the last 24 hours, 286 people infected with coronavirus have been registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and nine people have died, confirmed by entity health institutions.

Namely, 1,287 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which 209 are positive for coronavirus. New cases were registered in all cantons except Bosansko-Podrinjski.

A total of 123,231 samples have been tested so far, and coronavirus has been confirmed in 12,931 people.

As of today, 9,341 patients have recovered in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and 416 patients have recovered in the past 24 hours. There are currently 3,227 active cases positive for corona.

8 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Five men died, two men from Tuzla, and one each from Bugojno, Kalesija and Mostar, as well as three women, two of whom were from Livno and one from Živinice.

As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is 363, of which 238 are male and 125 are female.

As for the Republika Srpska, since the last report on the epidemiological situation in that entity, in the last 24 hours, 470 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center S, the University Hospital Foča and the St. Vračevi Hospital in Bijeljina, and coronavirus was confirmed in 77 people.

These are 36 men and 41 women, of whom 13 are younger, 51 middle-aged, and 13 are elderly.

According to place of residence, 20 people are from Banja Luka, eight from Istočno Novo Sarajevo, five each from Foča, Istočna Ilidža and Prijedor, four each from Bosanska Gradiška and Čelinac, three each from Pale and Laktaši, two each from Doboj, Mrkonjić Grad and Srbac, and one each from Zvornik, Derventa, Bosanski Šamac, Prnjavor, Ribnik, Bratunac, Kneževo, Bosanska Kostajnica, Kotor Varoš, Oštra Luka, Sokolac, Ugljevik, Šekovići and Šipovo.

One person died in RS.

Also, no cases of coronavirus were recorded in Brčko.
