Bosnia and Herzegovina: 1,985 new cases, 15 deaths

(Patria) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, health authorities today reported 1,985 new cases of coronavirus infection after testing 6,514 samples. Fifteen people who had previously tested positive for coronavirus have died.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 5,591 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which 1,694 were positive for coronavirus. New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A total of 1,074,163 samples have been tested so far, and coronavirus has been confirmed in 194,453 people.

In the past 24 hours, 7 deaths were reported in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the Central Bosnia Canton, Sarajevo Canton, and Canton 10, while three deaths were reported retroactively.

The total number of deaths in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is 7,581.

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, 581 laboratory samples have been tested in the last two days, and coronavirus has been confirmed in 257 people.

In the last two days, seven deaths have been reported to the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska.

The total number of hospitalized patients in RS is 383.

So far, 95,537 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in RS, and a total of 5,563 people who tested positive for this virus have died.

Today, 34 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Brčko District after testing 342 samples. One person died, and 24 recovered.
