
(Patria) - In the Mlječanica - Medžikovac location near Prijedor, during an exhumation, incomplete remains of at least two people were found.
Saliha Đuderija, a member of the Collegium of Directors of the Institute for Missing Persons (INO) of BiH, told Detektor that the exhumation at the Mlječanica-Medžikovac location, on the border between Prijedor and Bosanska Dubica, has been completed.
- The exhumation is complete, two incomplete bodies were found, it is presumed they are victims of Bosniak nationality from Prijedor - said Đuderija.
The remains will be transferred to the Šejkovača Identification Center in Sanski Most for further forensic processing, sample collection, and identification of missing persons.
The exhumation process was led by an investigator from the BiH Prosecutor's Office, and participants included representatives of the INO BiH, a pathologist, as well as the necessary workers and machinery, and police officers.
