250-kilogram aerial bomb destroyed in Bihać

An MK 82 aerial bomb, weighing 250 kilograms with 100 kg of explosives, found two days ago in the settlement of Privilica in the suburbs of Bihać, was successfully neutralized and destroyed this morning, writes Patria.

 

The operation to neutralize the aerial bomb began at 5:30 AM, after which it was relocated and destroyed at the "Grabež" training ground.

During the neutralization and relocation operation, a part of the city of Bihać, within a 300-meter radius around the location where the aerial bomb was found, was evacuated. Members of the FUCZ were supported in this operation by members of the police forces of the Bihać Police Administration and members of the Civil Protection of USK and the Municipality of Bihać.

The aerial bomb was found during the implementation of the so-called KfW project and the execution of works on the construction of the sewage system.
