Yellow weather alert issued for BiH due to showers and thunderstorms

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Today in Bosnia, the weather will be mostly cloudy, and in Herzegovina, slightly to moderately cloudy. During the day, there will be rain, showers, and thunderstorms.

- More intense rainfall is expected in the northeastern areas, and conditions for hail are locally possible. Wind will be light to moderate, from the north and northwest. The morning air temperature will be mostly between 12 and 17 degrees Celsius, up to 19 in the south, and the highest daily air temperature will be mostly between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius, from 24 to 28 degrees in the south - according to the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute.

A yellow weather alert is in effect for most of Bosnia and Herzegovina due to announced showers and thunderstorms. 

A yellow alert is in effect for the Banja Luka, Foča, Mostar, Livno, Sarajevo, Trebinje, Tuzla, and Višegrad regions.

An orange weather alert is in effect for the Prijedor region.
