41 person died from Covid in BiH in the last 24 hours

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the last 24 hours, 1,686 samples were tested for coronavirus in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with 348 new infections recorded. 41 people died from the consequences of coronavirus infection.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 1,379 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 269 are positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases were registered in all cantons/counties in the Federation of BiH, except for the Bosansko-Podrinjski and Canton 10. A total of 946,644 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 169,419 people.

In the past 24 hours, 30 people died in the Federation of BiH, from Herzegovina-Neretva, West Herzegovina, Central Bosnia, Zenica-Doboj, Tuzla, Sarajevo Canton, and Canton 10, while 23 deaths were reported retroactively.

The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 6,700.

In RS, 241 laboratory samples were analyzed, and SARS-CoV-2 was confirmed in 70 people.

In the last 24 hours, 11 deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska.

So far, 86,863 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Srpska, and a total of 4,971 people have died who tested positive for coronavirus.

In the Republic of Srpska, a total of 350,705 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in the Republic of Srpska is 696, at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska 278, and in other hospitals 418. 66 people are on ventilators, 38 at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, 28 in other hospitals).

In Brčko District of BiH, 66 samples were tested for coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Nine new cases of infection were recorded. In the last 24 hours, 19 people recovered from the consequences of coronavirus infection.
