321 case of coronavirus infection registered in BiH

(Patria) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 321 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the last 24 hours, announced the entity health institutions and Brčko District.
As for the Federation, 1,241 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute, of which 238 are positive for coronavirus.

New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH. A total of 144,348 samples have been tested so far, and the virus has been confirmed in 16,222 people.

As of today, 11,610 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, and recovery has been recorded in 7 patients in the past 24 hours. Currently, 4,164 cases positive for coronavirus are active.

One new death was reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH. A female person from Bugojno died.

As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 448, of which 295 are men and 153 are women.

In Brčko, only one new case of coronavirus was registered in the last 24 hours.

In the last 24 hours, 82 new coronavirus infections have been confirmed in the Republic of Srpska, and 609 samples have been analyzed. Five people died from the consequences of coronavirus infection in the previous day.

The largest number of newly infected people is from Banja Luka - 30 people, while there are five or fewer new infections from other municipalities.

In the last 24 hours, the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska reported the deaths of two women and three men of middle and older age from Istočna Ilidža, Bosanska Gradiška, Foča, Čelinac, and Bosanska Kostajnica.

So far, 8,691 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Srpska, and a total of 290 people with confirmed infections have died.
