41 Person Died from Covid in BiH in 24 Hours

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, a total of 1,293 samples for coronavirus were tested in the last 24 hours, of which 302 were positive, while 41 people died from the consequences of coronavirus.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 924 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 249 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases were registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH, except for the Bosnian-Podrinje and Canton 10.

So far, a total of 917,085 samples have been tested, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 162,949 people.

In the past 24 hours, 24 people died in the Federation of BiH, from Herzegovina-Neretva, Central Bosnia, Bosnian-Podrinje, Zenica-Doboj, Tuzla, and Sarajevo Cantons, while ten deaths were reported retroactively.

The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 6,451.

In the last 24 hours, in the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska, the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, and the General Hospital Sveti Vračevi in Bijeljina, 199 laboratory samples were tested, and the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed in 50 people.

In the last 24 hours, 16 deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska.

So far, 83,009 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Srpska, and a total of 4,761 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died. A total of 341,139 people have been tested in the Republic of Srpska.

The total number of hospitalized in the Republic of Srpska is 623, at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska 204, and in other hospitals 419. 52 people are on ventilators (24 at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, 28 in other hospitals).

In the Republic of Srpska, 6,831 people are currently under health supervision.

In Brčko District of BiH, 170 samples for coronavirus were tested in the last 24 hours, of which three were positive, and one person died.
