New 343 cases of infection in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - 343 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in BiH in the last 24 hours. 

In the past 24 hours the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH reported 1,591 samples, of which 270 are positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH, except for Bosansko-Podrinjski and Posavski.

A total of 149,037 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 16,879 people. As of today, 12,523 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, and in the past 24 hours, recovery has been recorded in 180 patients. Currently, there are 3,880 active cases positive for SARS-CoV-2.

In the past 24 hours, 11 new deaths have been reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH. In the past 24 hours, four people died, a man from Tomislavgrad and three women from Bugojno, Kreševo, and Orašje, while 7 deaths are from the previous period, which have just been reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH.

As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 476, of which 312 are men and 164 are women. 

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 629 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, the University Hospital in Foča, and the hospitals of St. Vračevi in Bijeljina and St. Apostle Luka in Doboj, and new coronavirus has been confirmed in 73 people in Republika Srpska.

These are 34 males and 39 females, of whom 14 are younger, 46 middle-aged, and 13 elderly.

According to place of residence, 33 people are from Banja Luka, seven from Bijeljina, six from Doboj, three each from Stanari, Teslić, and Čelinac, two each from Derventa, Mrkonjić Grad, Trebinje, Zvornik, and Čajniče, and one each from Ljubinje, Nevesinje, Osmaci, Prijedor, Prnjavor, Novo Goražde, Rogatica, and Ugljevik.

In the last 24 hours, one death has been reported to the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, in which the presence of the new coronavirus has been confirmed. This is a middle-aged woman from Pale.

So far, 8,895 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 293 people have died who tested positive for the new coronavirus.

In Republika Srpska, a total of 5,833 people have recovered from the new coronavirus, and a total of 76,197 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in Republika Srpska is 171, at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska 56, and in general hospitals 115.

In Republika Srpska, 3,497 people are currently under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 58,422 people.
