In BiH, 267 more people infected with coronavirus, 16 died

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 261 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the last 24 hours, and 14 people have died as a result of the infection.

In the past 24 hours, 2,244 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 177 were positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases were registered in all cantons/counties in the Federation of BiH, except for Bosansko-Podrinjski and Posavski.

A total of 411,337 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 79,718 people.

As of today, 66,836 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH. In the past 24 hours, 57 patients have recovered. There are currently 10,359 active cases positive for SARS-CoV-2.

In the past 24 hours, 9 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH.

As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 2,523.

RS Entity

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 619 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health, the University Clinical Center of RS, and the Sv. Vračevi Hospital in Bijeljina and Sv. apostol Luka Hospital in Doboj, and the new coronavirus was confirmed in 84 people.

These are 43 males and 41 females, of whom 12 are younger, 38 middle-aged, and 34 elderly.

By place of residence, 28 people are from Banja Luka, six each from Bijeljina and Pale, five from Kozarska Dubica, four each from Istočni Stari Grad and Srebrenica, three from Laktaši, two each from Derventa, Doboj, Zvornik, Lopare, Mrkonjić Grad, Novi Grad, Prijedor, Prnjavor, Rogatica, Teslić and Čelinac, and one each from Bratunac, Vukosavlje, Gradiška, Istočna Ilidža, Istočni Novi Sarajevo and Trebinje.

In the last 24 hours, five deaths with confirmed coronavirus infection were reported to the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska.

So far, 40,797 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, and a total of 2,101 people with a confirmed coronavirus test have died.

So far, 27,869 people have recovered, and a total of 187,069 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized is 555, with 190 in the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska and 365 in general hospitals.

Currently, 4,097 people are under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 131,183 people.

Brčko District

Nine new cases have been registered in the Brčko District, and two people have died.
