945 New Coronavirus Cases in BiH

(Patria) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 945 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in the past 24 hours from 3,082 tested samples. In the same period, 18 people with confirmed tests for this virus have died.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 1,927 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 517 were positive for coronavirus.

New cases were registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH.

A total of 928,946 samples have been tested so far, and coronavirus has been confirmed in 165,722 people.

In the past 24 hours, five people died in the Federation of BiH, from the Central Bosnia and Sarajevo Cantons, while five deaths were reported retroactively.

The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 6,536.

From the last report on the epidemiological situation in the Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 977 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of RS, UKC RS, University Hospital in Foča and hospitals Sveti Vračevi in Bijeljina and Sveti apostol Luka in Doboj, and coronavirus was confirmed in 403 people.

In the last 24 hours, 12 deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of RS.

So far, 84,905 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 4,832 people who tested positive for the coronavirus have died.

A total of 345,577 people have been tested in RS.

The total number of hospitalized in this entity is 677, at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska 231, and in other hospitals 446. 51 people are on ventilators (34 at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, 17 in other hospitals).

A total of 6,735 people are currently under health supervision in Republika Srpska.

Today, 25 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Brčko District of BiH. One person died, and five recovered.
