BiH: 3,162 New Infections in a Day

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 3,162 people have tested positive for coronavirus, out of 6,719 tested. This is an absolute record for the number of new infections since the beginning of the pandemic. 17 people have died, according to data from entity public health institutions and the Government of Brčko District.

In the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1,889 people have tested positive for coronavirus, out of 4,455 tested. 15 people have died. The deaths of two people were reported retroactively.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 202,773 people have tested positive for coronavirus, out of 1,096,621 tested. A total of 7,656 people have died, according to data from the Public Health Institute of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In Republika Srpska, 1,057 people have tested positive for coronavirus, out of 1,914 tested. Two people have died. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 99,050 people have tested positive for coronavirus, out of 385,751 tested. A total of 5,617 people have died, according to data from the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska.

In Brčko District, 216 people have tested positive for coronavirus, out of 350 tested. There have been no deaths. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 11,362 people have tested positive for coronavirus, out of 67,506 tested.

A total of 468 people have died, according to data from the Government of Brčko District.
