BiH: 309 New Infections, KCUS Did Not Submit Data

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – 309 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in BiH in the last 24 hours. 

In the past 24h, a total of 1,745 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 247 are positive for SARS-CoV-2 (KCUS did not submit data for the previous 24h).

New cases were registered in Una-Sana, Central Bosnia, Herzegovina-Neretva, West Herzegovina, Posavina, Tuzla, and Sarajevo Cantons.

To date, a total of 961,124 samples have been tested, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 172,151 people. In the past 24 hours, 2 people from Sarajevo Canton died in the Federation of BiH.

The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 6,793.

In RS, 197 laboratory samples were tested, and the coronavirus was confirmed in 56 people.

In the last 24 hours, 10 deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska.

To date, 88,332 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Srpska, and a total of 5,049 people have died who tested positive for coronavirus. A total of 354,820 people have been tested in the Republic of Srpska.

The total number of hospitalized in the Republic of Srpska is 599, at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska 250, and in other hospitals 349. 64 people are on ventilators (36 at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, 28 in other hospitals).

Six cases of infection were confirmed today in Brčko District.
