2,624 new cases of infection in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - 2,624 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in BiH. 

A total of 3,321 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 1,840 are positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH, except for Posavina. A total of 1,126,456 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 216,487 people.

In the past 24 hours, 6 deaths were reported in the Federation of BiH in Sarajevo Canton, while 2 deaths were reported retroactively. The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 7,813.

In the last 24 hours, 693 people infected with the coronavirus have been registered in Republika Srpska out of 1,384 tested, while 13 infected individuals have died, according to data from the Institute of Public Health.

So far, 103,305 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 5,711 people with confirmed COVID-19 have died. So far, 393,764 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized is 712, with 283 in the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska and 429 in other hospitals. 55 infected individuals are on ventilators, 28 of whom are in the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska.

Today, 91 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Brčko District of BiH, with no deaths.
