2,590 confirmed cases of Covid in BiH, 24 people died

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - 2,590 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in BiH in the past 24 hours.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 4,029 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 1568 are positive for SARS-CoV-2. New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH.

A total of 1,092,166 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 200,884 people.

In the past 24 hours in the Federation of BiH, 16 deaths were reported in the Central Bosnia, West Herzegovina, Zenica-Doboj, and Sarajevo Cantons, while two (2) deaths were reported retroactively.

The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 7,639.

In RS, 1,652 laboratory samples were tested, and the coronavirus was confirmed in 883 people.

In the last 24 hours, eight deaths have been reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska. So far, 97,933 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Srpska, and a total of 5,615 people who tested positive for coronavirus have died.

In the Republic of Srpska, a total of 383,837 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in the Republic of Srpska is 475, at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska 193, and in other hospitals 282. There are 40 people on ventilators (29 at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, 11 in other hospitals).

Today, 139 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Brčko District of BiH.
