245 new cases and six deaths in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the past 24 hours, 245 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in BiH. Of these, 173 in FBiH and 72 in Republika Srpska. 

New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH. A total of 151,939 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 17,206 people.

As of today, 13,197 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, and in the past 24 hours 282 patients have recovered. There are currently 3,518 active cases positive for SARS-CoV-2.

The Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH reported four new deaths in the past 24 hours. In the past 24 hours, two people died, a man from Kakanj and a woman from Travnik, while two deaths are from the previous period.

As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 491, of which 323 are men and 168 are women.

So far, 9,048 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 296 people have died who tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

In Republika Srpska, a total of 6,030 people have recovered from the novel coronavirus so far, and a total of 77,205 people have been tested.

These are 47 males and 25 females, of whom 19 are younger, 46 middle-aged, and seven elderly.

By place of residence, 29 people are from Banja Luka, five from Bijeljina, four each from Gradiška and Doboj, three people each are from Srbac and Čelinac, two each are from Višegrad, Gacko, Zvornik, Kneževo, Prnjavor, Stanari, Teslić and Foča, and one person each is from Bileća, Derventa, Istočna Ilidža, Kozarska Dubica, Laktaši, Lopare, Prijedor and Čajniče.

In the last 24 hours, the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska reported two deaths in which the presence of the novel coronavirus has been confirmed. These are middle-aged and elderly men from Teslić and Gradiška.
