242 new cases of infection in BiH, 13 people died

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the past 24 hours, 242 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in BiH. 

1,513 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 191 are positive for SARS-CoV-2. New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH.

A total of 157,625 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 17,837 people. As of today, 14,039 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, and in the past 24 hours, recovery has been recorded in 265 patients. Currently, 3,272 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 are active.

In the past 24 hours, 11 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH. As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 526, of which 348 are men and 178 are women.

In RS, out of 544 laboratory samples, the new coronavirus has been confirmed in 51 people. These are 28 males and 23 females, of whom 16 are younger, 26 middle-aged, and nine are elderly.

According to place of residence, 10 people are from Banja Luka, nine from Gradiška, five each from Bijeljina, Višegrad and Teslić, four from Foča, two from Zvornik, and one each from Berkovići, Bratunac, Derventa, Kneževo, Kozarska Dubica, Ljubinje, Modriča, Nevesinje, Novi Grad, Novo Goražde and Trebinje.

In the last 24 hours, two deaths have been reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska, in which the presence of the new coronavirus has been confirmed. These are elderly women from Trebinje and Banja Luka.

So far, 9,318 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Srpska, and a total of 309 people have died who tested positive for the new coronavirus.

In the Republic of Srpska, a total of 6,295 people have recovered from the new coronavirus, and a total of 79,612 people have been tested.
