240 new cases of infection, 11 deaths in 24 hours in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the past 24 hours, 240 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in BiH.

The Institute for Public Health of the Federation of BiH was reported 1,696 samples, of which 86 were positive for SARS-CoV-2. New cases were registered in all cantons of the Federation of BiH. So far, a total of 423,361 samples have been tested, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 80,832 individuals.

As of today, 72,692 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH. In the past 24 hours, 71 patients have recovered. Currently, there are 5,572 active cases positive for SARS-CoV-2.

In the past 24 hours, three new deaths were reported to the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of BiH. As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 2,568.

In the RS, testing of 769 laboratory samples was conducted, and the coronavirus was confirmed in 150 individuals.

In the last 24 hours, seven deaths of middle-aged and elderly individuals with confirmed presence of the coronavirus were reported to the Institute for Public Health of the Republika Srpska. So far, 41,556 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republika Srpska, and a total of 2,152 individuals with a confirmed coronavirus test have died.

In the Republika Srpska, 29,007 individuals have recovered from the new coronavirus so far, and a total of 191,641 individuals have been tested. The total number of hospitalized individuals in the Republika Srpska is 501, with 184 in the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska and 317 in general hospitals.

In the Brčko District, four new cases and one death have been confirmed.
