235 new cases of coronavirus in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the past 24 hours, 235 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in BiH.

In FBiH, out of 1,487 samples, 154 are positive for SARS-CoV-2. New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH. A total of 150,524 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 17,033 people.

As of today, 12,915 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, and in the past 24 hours, 392 patients have recovered. There are currently 3,631 active cases positive for SARS-CoV-2.

The Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH reported 11 new deaths in the past 24 hours. In the past 24 hours, six people died, four men from Zenica, Jajce, Sarajevo, and Tomislavgrad, and two women from Žepče and Srebrenik, while 5 deaths are from the previous period, which have just been reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH.

As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 487, of which 320 are men and 167 are women.

In RS, out of 544 laboratory samples, the virus has been confirmed in 81 people in the Republika Srpska. These are 44 males and 37 females, of whom 21 are younger, 49 middle-aged, and 11 elderly.

According to place of residence, 28 people are from Banja Luka, five each from Bijeljina, Gradiška, Istočna Ilidža, and Teslić, four from Srbac, three each from Mrkonjić Grad, Pale, Prnjavor, and Ribnik, two each from Istočno Novo Sarajevo, Laktaši, Foča, Čelinac, and one each from Doboj, Zvornik, Istočni Stari Grad, Kotor Varoš, Modriča, Nevesinje, Stanari, Čajniče, and Šipovo.

In the last 24 hours, the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska reported one death in which the presence of the new coronavirus has been confirmed. This is a middle-aged man from Banja Luka.

So far, 8,976 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 294 people have died who tested positive for the new coronavirus.

In Republika Srpska, a total of 5,948 people have recovered from the new coronavirus, and a total of 76,717 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in Republika Srpska is 164, at the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska 49, and in general hospitals 115.
