2,269 new coronavirus infections in BiH

(Patria) - In the last 24 hours, 2,269 new cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Bosnia and Herzegovina out of 6,078 processed tests. In the same period, 19 people with confirmed infection died.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 4,982 samples were reported to the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of BiH, of which 1,715 tested positive for coronavirus.

New cases were registered in all cantons of the Federation of BiH.

So far, a total of 1,083,439 samples have been tested, and coronavirus has been confirmed in 197,494 people.

In the past 24 hours, six deaths were reported in the Federation of BiH, while nine deaths were reported retroactively.

The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 7,614.

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in the Republic of Srpska, in the last 24 hours, testing of 763 laboratory samples was performed at the Institute for Public Health of the Republic of Srpska, the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, and the Hospital Sv. Vračevi in Bijeljina, and coronavirus was confirmed in 393 people.

In the last 24 hours, 11 deaths were reported to the Institute for Public Health of the Republic of Srpska.

So far, 96,533 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Srpska, and a total of 5,593 people who tested positive for this virus have died.

In the Republic of Srpska, a total of 381,033 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized is 443, and 40 people are on respirators, of which 28 are at the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, and 12 in other hospitals.

Today, in the Brčko District of BiH, 161 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered out of 333 processed tests. Two people died.
