215 New Cases of Infection in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the last 24 hours, 215 samples tested positive in BiH out of 2,081 tested. 

1,635 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 164 are positive for SARS-CoV-2. New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH, except for Posavina Canton. A total of 147,446 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 16,609 people.

As of today, 12,343 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH, and in the past 24 hours, 191 patients have recovered. Currently, there are 3,801 active cases positive for SARS-CoV-2.

14 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH in the past 24 hours. In the past 24 hours, 5 people died, namely 3 men from Bihać, Donji Vakuf, and Novi Travnik, as well as two women from Bihać. Nine deaths are from a previous period, which have just been reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH.

As of today, the total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 465, of which 305 are men and 160 are women.

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in the Republika Srpska, in the last 24 hours, 446 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health of Republika Srpska, the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska, the University Hospital in Foča, and the hospitals of St. Vračevi in Bijeljina and St. Apostle Luka in Doboj, and new coronavirus has been confirmed in 51 people in Republika Srpska.

These are 31 males and 20 females, of whom 12 are younger, 32 are middle-aged, and seven are elderly.

According to place of residence, eight people are from Banja Luka, five each from Prijedor and Foča, four people are from Bijeljina, three each from Gacko, Gradiška, Doboj, Zvornik, Novo Goražde, Prnjavor, and Čelinac, two each are from Višegrad and Laktaši, and one person each is from Brod, Kotor Varoš, Mrkonjić Grad, and Pale.

So far, 8,822 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 292 people who tested positive for the new coronavirus have died.

In Republika Srpska, a total of 5,739 people have recovered from the new coronavirus, and a total of 75,591 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized in Republika Srpska is 170, with 54 in the University Clinical Center of Republika Srpska and 116 in general hospitals.

In Republika Srpska, 3,451 people are currently under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 54,692 people.
