2,093 New Cases in BiH, 19 Deaths

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the past 24 hours, 2,093 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in BiH.

A total of 4,686 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 1,448 were positive for SARS-CoV-2. New cases were registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH.

A total of 1,064,372 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 191,716 people.

In the past 24 hours, 12 deaths were reported in the Federation of BiH, in the Central Bosnia, Zenica-Doboj, Tuzla, Sarajevo, and Canton 10, while two deaths were reported retroactively. The total number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 7,554.

In RS, 1,226 laboratory samples were tested, and the coronavirus was confirmed in 537 people.

In the last 24 hours, six deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Srpska.

So far, 95,280 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Republic of Srpska, and a total of 5,556 people have died who tested positive for coronavirus.

A total of 378,125 people have been tested in the Republic of Srpska.

The total number of hospitalized in the Republic of Srpska is 384, with 149 in the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, and 235 in other hospitals. 41 people are on ventilators (27 in the University Clinical Center of the Republic of Srpska, 14 in other hospitals).

In Brčko District of BiH, 108 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered today from 473 tested samples, and one person died due to Covid-19 disease.

In the last 24 hours, 18 people have recovered.
