35 kg of marijuana and 1.2 kg of cocaine seized in Banja Luka

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - Police officers of the Banja Luka Police Administration, on February 18, 2020, in cooperation with the Administration for Organized and Serious Crime, as part of an operational action code-named „Vidikovac“, deprived of liberty eight persons with initials M.K., F.M., L.M., M.S., S.P., A.B., S.M., and S.K. on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of „Unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs“.

During these activities, searches were conducted at nine locations in the area of the City of Banja Luka, used by the suspects, and on that occasion approximately 35 kg of green plant material resembling the narcotic drug „Marijuana“, 1.270 kg of white powdery substance resembling the narcotic drug „Cocaine“, two grinders for narcotic drugs, a certain amount of money, and other items that can be linked to the commission of the said criminal offense were found and seized.

The operation is being conducted under the supervision of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka, and pursuant to orders of the Basic Court in Banja Luka.
