Journalist Jadranka Pejanović of N1 television passes away at 40

BELGRADE, (Patria) - N1 television journalist Jadranka Pejanović has suddenly passed away at the age of 40. Jadranka had been with N1 television since its founding and left an indelible mark with her immense energy.

Jadranka Pejanović graduated from the Philological High School. She earned a degree in acting from the Academy of Arts in Belgrade, in the class of Professor Branislav Ciga Jerinić. She performed in several theater plays, puppet theater, choreodramas, as well as several films and domestic TV series.

From puppet shows and theater roles, in 2008 she stepped into the world of television, joining the newsroom of TV B92. She anchored news and the morning program. She was a co-author of the documentary film "Untold Stories" about the life of Zoran Đinđić.

In the TV N1 newsroom, she created the show "Scene," in which she covered events on the cultural scene of Serbia and the region. She was the author of the show Net Kontekst. She conducted dozens of interviews with the most prominent figures in cultural and public life, and is the author of several documentary reports in the series Unexplored. During the 2014 floods, she reported for CNN.

She invested great talent, versatility, and seriousness into N1 television. Jadranka is survived by her husband and daughter.
