In 2015, growth in foreign trade of weapons and military equipment

The Council of Ministers of BiH adopted the Annual Report on foreign trade of weapons, military equipment, dual-use and special purpose products, which contains the Report of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations on the implementation of foreign trade of weapons, military equipment, dual-use and special purpose products for 2014 and the Report on issued permits for foreign trade of weapons, military equipment, dual-use and special purpose goods for 2015, reports Patria News Agency.

The total value of foreign trade, according to issued permits for export, import and temporary export and import of weapons, military equipment and dual-use and special purpose goods, based on pro forma invoices submitted with the permit applications, amounted to EUR 247,032,542.00 in 2014. Based on the implementation of issued permits, the total value of realized foreign trade in this area amounted to EUR 105,209,141.00.

The total value of foreign trade according to issued permits for export, import and temporary export and import of weapons, military equipment, dual-use and special purpose goods, based on pro forma invoices submitted with the permit applications, amounted to EUR 426,927,569, which is about 75 percent more than in the previous year.
