Tvrtko I obligated Muslims, Catholics, Orthodox to fight for BiH until Judgment Day

On this day in 1377, the most powerful Bosnian king, Tvrtko I Kotromanić, was crowned in Mile, present-day Arnautovići, near Visoko.

And the memory of him, says Dr. Mustafa Cerić, obliges Bosniaks of all faiths - Muslims, Catholics, Orthodox, and others, who are aware of Bosnia's thousand-year statehood, who know what the lilies mean, who fought with the lilies for the freedom and independence of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1992, who are still fighting and who teach their descendants to fight for Bosnia and Herzegovina until Judgment Day.

- The diversity of faiths does not prevent Bosniaks from fighting together and unitedly for their state, for which King Tvrtko I Kotromanić fought – said Dr. Cerić.

- This is especially true for Bosniak Muslims, who must understand that Bosnia is their land, their state, their concern, and their greatest responsibility to ensure that the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina is sovereign, strong, and functional like all states in Europe.

Their faith and culture, Cerić notes, do not hinder them on the path of this struggle. On the contrary, he says, it is their religious and cultural obligation to show the whole world their state-building consciousness and statecraft, like that which King Tvrtko I Kotromanić had when he was crowned on this day in Mile, where we will gather, God willing, and at that place pay him tribute and pledge to unite around the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the peace, freedom, and happiness of our descendants.

Bosniaks, warns Dr. Cerić, wake up and look within yourselves and around you and understand that a people without a state are like a sheep without wool, like a hunter without a rifle, like a child without a mother.
