MS&WOOD Furniture Factory Rewards Best Employee with a Vacation

Mirza Ramić was chosen as the employee of the year for the Bosnian furniture industry company MS&WOOD (Majstori i drvo), and as a reward, he received a 7-day vacation in Turkey.

Ramić has already returned from Antalya where he, with his wife and daughter, enjoyed an all-inclusive package. He was selected based on voting within the factory, as well as an assessment by a commission, for his exceptional dedication and contribution to the company's development. Last year, Aziz Bukvić, a carpenter by profession who works as a master craftsman in the factory, was awarded the same prize as employee of the year.

Ramić was born in 1982. He has been working at this Fojnica-based factory since its opening in 2012.

- He started as an electrician, without much knowledge or experience, but through continuous learning, effort, and dedication, he grew along with this company. Today, he is a top craftsman. We can always count on Mirza because he is a person who lives and works in accordance with our company's key values: honesty, knowledge, dedication, responsibility, and sustainable development, and as such, he deserves the title of employee of the year - said Mirsada Softić, Head of Human Resources at MS&WOOD.

In addition to the employee of the year award, MS&WOOD also selects an employee of the month each month, and this practice of choosing the best employee will continue in the future.

- My example shows that learning and effort always pay off. Five years ago, I started as an electrician, and today I am the head master electrician for maintenance. In the beginning, I didn't have much knowledge in my trade. However, my colleagues and the environment were exceptional. As the company grew, I had many opportunities to learn, and I didn't miss them. I always strived to gain new knowledge and stayed longer at work. Being the employee of the year for such a successful factory is a great honor for me - stated Ramić.
