Solemn procession with 136 identified remains of genocide victims departs from Visoko on July 9

The Organizing Committee for the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide has informed all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all interested parties who wish to accompany the coffins with 136 identified remains of genocide victims, which will be buried on July 11, 2015 at the Memorial Center in Potočari, that the transport of the coffins will depart on July 9, 2015 at 9:00 AM from Visoko, reports the Patria news agency.

The protocol of the farewell is as follows:

- Also, we inform citizens that the funeral prayer for the 136 identified genocide victims will begin at 1:00 PM on July 11, 1995, first with the noon and afternoon prayers, followed by the funeral prayer. We ask all those who plan to attend this sad day, the most heartbreaking for all of us, to accompany our loved ones in a dignified manner and not allow anyone to stand before our victims - the Organizing Committee stated.

In order to complete all planned activities and demonstrate dignity despite the pain they carry within, the Organizing Committee asks everyone to plan their arrival at the Memorial Center on July 11 in the early morning hours and to fully adhere to the protocol established by the members of the Organizing Committee, police, and stewards.
