TUZLA Hundreds of citizens in protest march

(Patria) - A peaceful march of citizens began in Tuzla at 11:55 AM due to the case of human trafficking and sexual exploitation of minors, which shook the public in BiH this week.

The gathered people were carrying banners with various messages: "Protect children – punish criminals!", "Your duty is to protect citizens, not to kill them"...

Citizens gathered in front of the Home for Unattended Children Tuzla, two of whose wards are victims in this case, and the column is moving along the route from the Home to the Prosecutor's Office of TK and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of TK.

Organizers say this is a peaceful and dignified protest against injustice, corruption, and the silence of institutions that should protect citizens.

The peaceful march gathered hundreds of citizens who are raising their voices against abuses in society, especially since four police officers were arrested in this case.

Four police officers were immediately suspended, and all eight arrested individuals are in custody.

The protest march ended in front of the building of the MUP TK.
