Tuzla City defeated Sarajevo and remained alone at the top of the table

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Tuzla City footballers have strengthened their leading position in the BiH Premier League table, after defeating FK Sarajevo 2:1 today as part of the ninth round.

The host took the lead with a goal from Vojo Ubiparip from the penalty spot in the 9th minute.

Until the end of the first half, there were several chances for Sarajevo, but the score did not change.

Tuzla increased their lead to 2:0 at the start of the second half through Nermin Crnkić.

In the continuation of the match, both teams missed clear opportunities, and in stoppage time, Mersudin Ahmetović managed to score to reduce the deficit.

However, it was too late for Sarajevo, so Tuzla recorded a very important victory and remained alone at the top of the table.

Mladost Doboj Kakanj defeated Sloboda 2:0 in the second match that ended. The scorers were Atajić and Horić.

Tuzla City now has 20 points, Sarajevo three less, and Željezničar 16 points and one game less.
