Prosecutor's Office of TK: We are conducting extensive operational and investigative activities, we will not comment on unverified information

(Patria) - Investigative teams of the Ministry of Interior of TK, acting on the order and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Tuzla Canton, are conducting extensive operational and investigative activities related to events before, during and after the triple murder and attempted murder of three people in Gradačac on Friday, August 11, the Prosecutor's Office of TK announced today.

"Other police agencies are also involved in certain checks. Police investigators are conducting detailed investigative activities and working on documenting various segments related to the mentioned events, and individual reports and accompanying material evidence have not yet been submitted to the Prosecutor's Office.

Until the submission of reports and material evidence, their analysis, and the making of prosecutorial decisions, the Prosecutor's Office is not in a position and cannot disclose to the public any details and information about each individual check and investigative activity being carried out.

In particular, we cannot and will not respond to various unverified information and sensationalist publications by certain media outlets and to inquiries related to such publications, which cause immeasurable damage to society as a whole and to the further course of the investigation itself," stated the Prosecutor's Office of TK.

Today, a meeting of the operational investigative group of prosecutors and authorized officials of law enforcement agencies will be held to agree on further guidelines in clarifying all circumstances that preceded and relate to the mentioned events.

Also, today a meeting of the Office of the Chief Prosecutor and the management of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of TK will be held to assess and analyze the actions of institutions regarding the reported criminal offense of domestic violence in this specific case, as well as other cases of domestic violence and other forms of violent behavior.
