(Patria) - The acting prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office proposed to the Municipal Court in Sarajevo to order one-month custody for Almir Erkočević, arrested in the operation codenamed "Star". He is suspected of criminal offenses of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs and unauthorized possession of weapons. Custody was proposed due to the risk that the suspect might repeat the criminal offense if released.
During searches conducted in the Ilidža area, investigators of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton found and seized more than two kilograms of speed, 44 ecstasy tablets, almost a kilogram of marijuana – in several different packages, a pistol with a magazine and ammunition, cash in BAM and EUR currency, two digital scales, mobile phones, and numerous other items of interest to the investigation.
