(Patria) - The acting prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office has proposed to the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo to order one-month custody for Feđa Avdić, Arabela Avdić, Branislav Papić, Alija Glavinić, Aldijan Dajidžić, and Zlata Mujkić, who are suspected of the criminal offense of association for the purpose of committing criminal offenses in connection with the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs, incitement to prostitution, and illegal possession of weapons and explosives. Custody has been proposed for them due to the risk that the suspects, if at liberty, could influence witnesses, conceal evidence, and due to the risk of recidivism.
Feđa Avdić is suspected of organizing and leading a group from December 2024 to early April 2025, whose members were the other suspects who had clearly defined roles and tasks. The suspects procured, transported, hid, and sold cocaine and heroin for suspect Avdić in the Sarajevo Canton area. His daughter, Arabela Avdić, handed over the money from sales to him, while Branislav Papić kept it for Avdić. For these criminal activities, suspect Papić used the official car of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly.
They earned about 200 KM for one gram of cocaine and 70 KM for heroin. The same group organized by Avdić is also suspected of incitement to prostitution. Namely, on Avdić's orders, they are suspected of inciting and luring several girls to provide sexual services to unknown men.
As part of the operation "Ata", carried out on the order and under the supervision of the acting prosecutor, searches were conducted at 13 locations in the Sarajevo Canton area. Approximately 80,000 KM was found and seized. One and a half kilograms of cocaine with a market value of 160,000 KM. Heroin, ecstasy, and speed were found, along with an expensive car, weapons, precision scales, and grinders.
Incidentally, the arrests were preceded by a multi-month investigation and special investigative actions by the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office in cooperation with the Federal Police Administration and with the support of the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
