
(Patria) - A prosecutor from the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has filed an indictment against Mulahusić Jasmin, born in 1976, residing in Luxembourg, a citizen of Luxembourg and BiH.
The indictment states that the accused, acting from the territory of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, with the intent to incite hatred directed against a group of persons or a member of a group in Bosnia and Herzegovina, based on religious affiliation, origin, or national belonging, and thereby incite and stir up discord, national and religious hatred, and intolerance among the constituent peoples and others, during the period from 2021 to 2023, through at least four social media profiles, sent insults, threats, created humiliating photo montages, and in other ways, in the publicly accessible internet space, insulted and endangered journalists and media workers, as well as other persons.
Evidence has been collected that the accused continuously published content targeting individuals by creating photo montages and fabricating untrue content about the persons he wrote about, with the intention of causing them and their family members a sense of endangerment, insecurity, and fear, which indeed happened.
During the aforementioned period, the accused publicly called for the dismissal from jobs in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in BiH institutions of persons of Croatian and Serbian nationality, solely based on their origin, nationality, or religious affiliation, by linking them to past war events in Bosnia and Herzegovina. By acting in this manner towards Bosniaks who do not share his views on political life, nation, and faith according to his radical beliefs, he insulted them on religious and national grounds, classifying them as members of other constituent peoples in BiH, calling them traitors and infidels, and publicly calling on his numerous followers on social media to punish them, leaving comments of an extremely offensive and threatening nature towards the targeted individuals.
The accused is charged with committing criminal offenses - Inciting national, racial, and religious hatred, discord, and intolerance under Article 145a, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of BiH, as well as the criminal offense of Endangering Security under Article 183, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of FBiH.
The prosecution will prove the allegations of the indictment by calling 9 witnesses, one expert, and submitting dozens of material evidence, including evidence obtained through international legal assistance from other countries.
The indictment has been forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
