Prosecutor's Office of BiH on arrest operation: Activities carried out by police officers of the Border Police of BiH

(Patria) - By order of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, in a case coordinated with EUROJUST and the prosecutor's offices of France, Slovenia and Spain, the activities were carried out by police officers of the Border Police of BiH with the assistance of SIPA members, as well as previously conducted activities of the MUP RS.

Searches and arrests were carried out in the area of Banja Luka, Prnjavor and Gradiška.

A total of three suspects from the territory of BiH are under investigation for criminal acts of organized crime under Article 250 and illegal trade in weapons, ammunition and dual-use products under Article 193 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

The criminal acts relate to the smuggling of a larger quantity of weapons, automatic rifles, bombs and ammunition, which was collected on the illegal market in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the intention of smuggling them into the territory of France.
