Prosecutor's Office of BiH decides not to investigate alleged Russian camps in Republika Srpska

(Patria) - The Prosecutor's Office of BiH has issued an order not to conduct an investigation into alleged Russian training camps in Republika Srpska, confirmed for BHRT by the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, Milanko Kajganić.

This decision followed after the Prosecutor's Office, together with partner agencies, examined the allegations made by the Minister of Defense of BiH, Zukan Helez.

"The order not to conduct an investigation was issued on May 6, because no evidence was found indicating the existence of grounds for suspicion that any of the criminal offenses prescribed by the Criminal Code of BiH had been committed," stated the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.

They added that there is no data on training for terrorist attacks in Moldova, and that the competent security institutions should have their say on this matter.

Recall, Helez said that less than a year ago he went public with information about the existence of Russian military training camps for paramilitary units near Rogatica and Mount Maglić. He forwarded evidence of the existence of these camps to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.

- According to the information I have, these camps were disbanded after my public appearance and the report to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH. They packed up their belongings and crossed the Drina. There they can carry out their activities without interference - said Helez.
