Prosecutor Requests Lifting of Detention for Bošnjak, but Proposes Measures Banning Him from Performing Ministerial Duties and Entering the KS Government

(Patria) - The acting prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office has proposed to the Municipal Court in Sarajevo the lifting of detention for suspect Bojan Bošnjak.

Instead of detention, for which legal grounds no longer exist, prohibition measures have been proposed, which include: a ban on leaving his place of residence, a ban on performing official duties in the Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton, a ban on visiting official premises of the Government of Sarajevo Canton, the Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton and Our Party, and a ban on meeting with Ibro Berilo, Nađa Milišić and Adis Mulaosmanović and any employee of the Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton and Our Party.

We remind you that Bošnjak was arrested on November 15, 2024, and has been in detention since then. The Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton, Nihad Uk, from whose party Bošnjak comes, has never initiated Bošnjak's removal, and the function of Minister of Communal Economy is temporarily performed by Adnan Šteta.
