Prosecutor Ljubić must justify 72 days of detention for crime investigator

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - All indications are that Tomislav Ljubić will leave the top position of the Tuzla Canton Prosecutor's Office, whose organized crime department operated in such a way that in the most populous canton, the Association of Victims of the Tuzla Prosecutor's Office has largely been formed, writes the portal "TuzlaLIVE".

One of the already familiar members of this infamous Association is Mirsad Hadžić from Kalesija. This investigator from the Criminal Police Department of the Kalesija Police Station was taken from work, in uniform, without any notice, and placed in detention based on an anonymous report. Without any evidence, the acting prosecutor Ćazim Serhatlić, with the help of his boss Tomislav Ljubić, kept the unfortunate Hadžić in detention for 72 days.

In TK, hope is now being publicly expressed that after almost seven years of legal chaos, prosecutor Tomislav Ljubić will answer before the disciplinary panel of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council.

The evidence submitted by the injured party Hadžić to the HJPC has been verified, and Ljubić has a likely chance of being punished for the second time.

He has already been punished once for leasing his business premises to lawyers who were on the opposite side in courtrooms.
