Turkish Embassy: Erdogan's statement about the cross on Zlatište is false!

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is the target of false reporting, and some media outlets in Bosnia and Herzegovina are persistently fabricating his statements, writes the Patria News Agency.

As NAP wrote yesterday, a fabricated text was published on the portal “sarajevo365.com” which states that Erdogan told a local radio station in Istanbul that he "will not allow the construction of a cross on Zlatište above Sarajevo".

It was stated that Erdogan emphasized that this would be just one of the steps by which he would fulfill his pre-election promise to provide strong support to brotherly Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- The Alliance of Prisoners of the RS entity bases the reason for erecting a cross on Zlatište above Sarajevo on lies; imagine that people from this alliance claim that there were 126 camps in Sarajevo where Serbs were held, which is utter madness and a lie, similar to the lies used by Israelis when they want to kill Palestinians. The truth is that Serbs also suffered in Sarajevo during the war, but they suffered from their own deranged compatriots who bombed them from the hills - Erdogan commented for Istanbul radio, the sarajevo365.com portal learned.

The Turkish Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed to NAP that the news is false.
