Turković with representatives of national and religious communities of BiH citizens in Berlin

After participating in the Second High-Level Meeting of the Franco-German Initiative for Comprehensive Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW), Minister Turković met in the evening hours of 31 January 2020 at the premises of the BiH Embassy in Berlin with representatives of national and religious communities of BiH citizens living and working in Berlin.

This meeting was an opportunity for an exchange of opinions and experiences related to the life and work of BiH citizens in the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany. Minister Turković took the opportunity to inform the present BiH nationals about the most significant political, economic and security topics concerning BiH, as well as about the basic priorities of the new convocation of the Council of Ministers of BiH. She also expressed readiness for cooperation between the competent BiH authorities and all institutions of the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as legal and natural persons in the Federal Republic of Germany interested in strengthening mutual ties between BiH and the Federal Republic of Germany, and promoting BiH's interests in the world.

Representatives of national and religious communities of BiH citizens in Berlin, on behalf of all BiH citizens living and working in the German capital, expressed gratitude to Minister Turković for the opportunity and willingness to meet and talk. They also stated that BiH institutions can count on the wholehearted support of all BiH citizens living and working in Germany, because physical distance from the areas where they were born and raised cannot diminish their love and dedication to the progress of the entire BiH and all its citizens.
