Turković: I have not, nor will I ever, "plot against" Uščuplić

Almir Turković, former star of FK Sarajevo and current youth team coach at Koševo, is shocked by headlines in certain media outlets claiming he is trying in every possible way to “stab Dženan Uščuplić in the back”, the coach of Sarajevo's first team, the Patria news agency reports.

- I am shocked and strongly reject all insinuations that have been published, especially since no one contacted me or asked whether such a claim is true. I am disappointed, although I know where the wind is blowing from and who released such news into the air – says Turković.

He further adds that he is an employee of FK Sarajevo and has no reason or ambition to „stab Uščuplić in the back“, as one sports portal claims.

- So, I lead the youngest group of children training in Sarajevo, I have neither had nor do I have ambitions to take over the first team. I hope Dženo will not believe this farce that has been published, but I also tell those who planted this, and I know well who they are, that they have no reason to set me against Uščuplić – added Turković.

This former fan favourite is deeply affected by the latest developments, because he loves Sarajevo, the club where he experienced the best moments of his career.

- No matter how much I disagree with some club policy or have certain disagreements, I am not a man who will plot behind someone's back. I call on those who started this story to publicly say what I have done – added Turković.
